Lovely one-family house on the Tuscan hills
Our home
Ours is a beautiful holiday home that my father's family built in the late '60s on a beautiful spot of Tuscany. The one-story house is surrounded by a large garden with olive (my parents still produce their own olive oil for the close family!) and chestnut trees and bushes of rosemary, lavender and many other plants and flowers. The house has a large dining-sitting room with a working large exposed-brick fireplace and many windows filling the room with light and warmth, especially at sunset. A small EIK with all the necessary appliances (fridge, oven, dishwasher, washing machine) and a door to side garden with al fresco dining area and brick barbecue grill. From the dining area a small staircase (5 steps only) leads to bedrooms and bathrooms and a large pantry. The house features 3 bedrooms (1 single with door to side garden, 1 twin and 1 double with a sofa bed/futon) and 2 full bathrooms (both with bath-tub). Central hot-air heating.
