Studio and 1BR in Manhattan\'s East Village - 2 for 1 swap!

Our home

We are offering our two small apartments together, a Studio and a 1-Bedroom, in Manhattan's vibrant East Village neighborhood – we would be happy to treat the apartments as one swap. Each apartment sleeps 2. They are 4 blocks apart.The Studio: is one flight up to a 10x30' comfortable, secure, recently renovated studio with queen bed, full bath and simple kitchen on East Fourth St. (the "Arts Block") between Second Avenue and The Bowery. The 1-Bedroom: is on East First St. between Second Ave. and First Ave. It has a double bed, full bath, simple kitchen and an elevator (5th floor). It's possible to sleep a third person, if very determined, on the single living room sofa (does not fold out and is approximately the size of a single bed). Both apartments are very secure and offered as a package for a swap. (if you wish only 1 of the apts., that's ok too). Both have flat screen tv, cable, ceiling fans, window guards, are clean and convenient to public transportation. The Studio has DVD and Video players. The 1-Bedroom may have an Internet connection shortly. The apartments are 4 blocks apart. No pets or smoking, please.We would like to visit New Orleans for a week in April or May (2010). I am a New Orleans native and my partner Ruth loves the city as much as I do.Thanks for considering this unusual swap.
