RoofSwap Forum - Red Flags in Contact Email

Someone sent me an email asking for a swap. He said it's fine for us to smoke in his home. That makes me think he is a smoker but he says he isn't. I do not want anyone in our home who smokes. Thoughts? Any other red flags you don't like to see in a first-contact email from a swapper?

Hi Nicole, Interesting that this is a red flag, we let people smoke in our home, however we are not smokers! One of used to smoke, but that was more than 5 years ago, and I guess we leave it to the character and courtesy of the people we are swapping with to decide if they smoke inside, or step outside.
